Pistachio Hull

This extract is obtained from the pistachio hull—the external soft shell of the pistachio fruit—using state-of-the-art Supercritical CO₂ technology. This method valorises a major agricultural by-product, transforming what was once considered waste into a highly concentrated source of healthy and technological compounds.

Pistachio hulls are among the top 50 richest sources of phenolic compounds, containing significantly higher concentrations than the kernel itself. Our CO₂ process isolates a potent matrix of Gallotannins, Myricetin, Gallic acid, and Quercetin. These compounds work synergistically to provide robust antioxidant, cytoprotective, and photoprotective activities.
